Le Blanc Cabo Location

Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos, which we’ll just refer to as Le Blanc Cabo, or Le Blanc Los Cabos for ease, is located halfway between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas along the Tourist Corridor. The Tourist Corridor is the hotel zone that stretches between the two towns and is where 95% of the Cabo Resorts are located. Being located along this stretch provides for the perfect south-east views to take in the sunrise and sunshine all day long.

You will most likely be arriving in Cabo at the main airport, Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), which is actually located near the smaller San José del Cabo. It is about a 30 to 40 minute drive from the airport to Le Blanc Cabo Resort, which can easily be completed via taxi, Uber, or private transportation. From Le Blanc Los Cabos, trips into the main town of Cabo San Lucas take only about 20 minutes. A trip to the nearby San José del Cabo is less than 15 minutes drive.

Le Blanc Cabo Arrival

The arrival area of Le Blanc Cabo is nothing short of spectacular. The lobby has towering glass windows on both the mountain and ocean sides, with white marble all around. Your gaze will immediately be focused on the stunning ocean view which is showcased directly in front of the open lobby. As we arrived during COVID-19 times, safety precautions were in full force, which is good to keep in mind as it might affect our experience as part of this Le Blanc Cabo review. Our temperatures, and that of our driver, were taken as we drove onto the resort. Once at the lobby, hand sanitizer was provided, as was a refreshing towel. All staff were wearing face masks throughout our entire stay, as were guests, except when at the pool or dining.

Check-in was completed quickly, and we were greeted with Le Blanc Cabo’s signature welcome drink and a warm and comforting heat pack to relax our shoulders. We were on our way upstairs to our Honeymoon suite in no time, equipped with a wrist band as the key to our room. We loved the wrist-band key as you were guaranteed never to forget your room key, and didn’t have to worry about it when swimming in the pool or the ocean.

Le Blanc Cabo Rooms

Le Blanc Cabo Resort has a variety of luxury suites catering to everyone’s needs. Due to the curved nature of the main building, all tower rooms have expansive views of both the ocean and the entire resort. During our time for this Le Blanc Cabo review, we stayed in a 1-bedroom Honeymoon suite with direct views of the ocean. Le Blanc Cabo also offers suites lower down on either side of the main resort pools so that you can be just steps from the pools, beach, and restaurants.

King Bed Room at Le Blanc Cabo

The Honeymoon suite featured an expansive bathroom with a huge freestanding bathtub, and all of the amenities you might need. You also have a fully stocked minibar in your room and a Lavazza coffee machine, perfect for making delicious cups of coffee anytime you want.

The king-size bed was particularly comfortable, and the room had considerable storage and space. One of the unique features of Le Blanc Spa Resort hotels is that they also feature comfort menus. You can choose from a surprisingly large variety of pillow types, handcrafted soaps, as well as specialty bath salts and aromatherapy. We loved the in-room aromatherapy and personalized bubble bath which contributed to an even more relaxing experience at Le Blanc Cabo.

Le Blanc Cabo Amenities

The main building of the Le Blanc Los Cabos Resort is a curved tower facing the ocean. The lobby and some restaurants are situated a few floors up from the ocean, however this is actually the ground level from the mountain side. Above the lobby is where the vast majority of the rooms are located. Each floor has a butler which will help you with everything from dinner reservations, the comfort menu, and anything else to make the most of your stay.

Below the lobby level and towards the beach are where the additional restaurants are located, as well as the spa and fitness center. All guests can enjoy the hydrotherapy area of the spa, and the resort also offers Pilates and Spinning Bike classes for those that like to stay active during their vacation. The main pool is simply gigantic, and is also flanked by 3 other pools and 2 hot tubs for maximum resort life. On either side of the main resort of Le Blanc Cabo you will find additional suites.

Le Blanc Cabo Dining

Le Blanc Cabo has an incredible and diverse selection of restaurants, which are of course all-inclusive. The below restaurants already offer so much selection, but 24/7 in-room dining is also available if you don’t feel like leaving your room!

Room Service Balcony Breakfast Le Blanc Cabo

Le Blanc Cabo Breakfast

The main restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is Blanc International, which offers a rotating menu each day. For breakfast you also have the option to dine at Blanc Ocean with all of the ocean views you could want, or take a culinary journey with an incredible mezze style breakfast at Mezze. We absolutely loved the breakfast at Mezze and ate here twice for breakfast. The offerings were all outstanding, and if you enjoy coffee you absolutely must try the Turkish coffee which is prepared table-side. Definitely make a point to visit Mezze for breakfast, as we found it to be one of the stand-out highlights of Le Blanc Cabo.

Le Blanc Cabo Lunch

For lunch, both Blanc International and Blanc Ocean are available as is Blanc Pizza, which serves up truly delicious pizzas and other Italian specialties right near the pool. All lunch restaurants have plenty of options to choose from.

Le Blanc Cabo Dinner

For dinner, it is recommended to make a reservation at one of Le Blanc Los Cabos’ signature restaurants. Lumiere offers fine French dining and Blanc Italia fine Italian dining. Both restaurants are located on the main lobby level. Additionally, on this level is Blanc Asia, which we had read from other Le Blanc Los Cabos reviews is absolutely fantastic. We only ate here once, but we loved it so much we would eat here as much as we could the next time we visit Le Blanc Cabo. The food at Blanc Asia was simply outstanding, and features a mix of Japanese, Thai, and Chinese flavors, all with a little bit of a Mexican twist. During your stay at Le Blanc Los Cabos Resort, be sure to book at least one dinner at Blanc Asia, as it is another one of the main highlights of the resort.

Another excellent choice for dinner is Mezze, which has a wonderful atmosphere and delicious Lebanese flavors. Meals are mezze style, allowing you to try so many of the delicious offerings.

Since we love coffee so much, we also have to mention the Blanc Café which is open all day for your coffee fix, a quick snack, or satisfying that sweet tooth. The café has a wide selection of handmade chocolates, pastries, cookies, and a number of ice cream flavors.

No matter where you choose to dine at Le Blanc Cabo, you will have enjoy excellent service and a delicious meal. We enjoyed every meal that we had at Le Blanc Los Cabos, and can definitely recommend the resort for anyone who has a discerning taste palate.

Le Blanc Cabo Conclusion

Le Blanc Cabo has it all If you’re looking for an adult only luxury all-inclusive experience. We were amazed by the impressive service from everyone we interacted with, including our butlers, the wait staff in the restaurants, and around the pool.  Le Blanc Cabo offers a great all-around experience as you get to experience a large resort with all of the amenities you could want, delicious food, excellent drinks, and stunning views. We would recommend Le Blanc Cabo to anyone that is looking for a place to indulge in delicious international food and drinks and enjoy a great atmosphere around the pool, with excellent service all around.

Le Blanc Cabo FAQs

Is Le Blanc Cabo on a swimmable beach?

Le Blanc Cabo is located on the tourist corridor and is not on a swimmable beach. The current in the Pacific Ocean can be extremely dangerous and it is not advisable to swim here. That being said, the beach is great for relaxing, walking, horseback riding, and if you are visiting between January and March, it is a great place for whale watching as you can see the gentle giants right from the beach!

Why is Cabo San Lucas so dangerous?

We felt completely safe in Cabo San Lucas and did not have any safety concerns in the cities as well as in the tourist corridor. The most dangerous part about Cabo is the strong current of the ocean, the rip tide. The current is so strong that even if you are standing in the ocean knee deep, it can completely knock you over. If you are looking for a swimmable beach in Cabo, head to Medano beach.

How far is Le Blanc Cabo from the airport?

You will most likely be arriving in Cabo at the main airport, Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), which is actually located near the smaller San José del Cabo. It is about a 30 to 40 minute drive from the airport to Le Blanc Cabo, which can easily be completed via taxi, Uber, or private transportation.

Which is better Cancun or Cabo?

Whether you enjoy Cancun or Cabo more completely depends on what you are looking for. Both cities have stunning beaches and the perfect weather all year round. Cabo is more exclusive and a great beach getaway for anyone who is not actually looking to swim in the ocean. The hills surrounding Cabo are incredibly beautiful and the city has some of the best sunrises and sunsets in Mexico. If you are visiting between January and March, seeing whales from the shore make for an unforgettable experience.
Cancun is famous for its bright turquoise ocean and if you are looking for a beach vacation and want to swim in the ocean, Cancun is the perfect place for you. It’s also a great base if you are looking to explore other places in the Yucatan such as cenotes, Chichen Itza, Tulum, and Isla Mujeres.

  1. What time did you usually eat dinner at night? I am not sure what room you stayed in. Do you know if room 1254 is a nice room?

I know you really enjoyed Blanc Asia and highly recommend it. How is Blanc Ocean for dinner? After Blanc Asia what was your next two favorite restaurants for dinner?

Thank you in advance for your help!!

    • Hi Jim, Le Blanc Cabo is such a great resort! We usually ate dinner around 7:30PM and never had problems getting a table, however the resort was at quite low capacity when we were there. I’m not sure on room 1254, but almost all rooms should have a fairly similar view based on the design of the resort! After Blanc Asia, we enjoyed Mezze the most, but also had a great meal at Blanc Ocean with those amazing views. Have a great trip!

  2. Hi,
Great review! Were you able to do anything outside the hotel? I stayed at Ritz in Cancun 3 years ago and I loved the part that I was able to walk around and take bus to their local areas to get a flavor of their actual culture. Anything you would recommend if we are staying at this hotel? Are there any discounts for this hotel?

    • Hi Umer, thanks for your comment! Le Blanc is truly one of our favorite resorts in Cabo, and the one we most think about returning to! We loved the overall vibe, excellent food choices, and friendly service. It’s in the middle of the tourist corridor so there is not much to walk to, but you could easily taxi/Uber/bus to either San José del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas in 15-20 minutes. If you decide to go make sure to have breakfast at Mezze and dinner at Blanc Asia. Sometimes they have deals available when booking direct, or sometimes with Booking.com. We always appreciate those who decide to book through the links on this page! Thanks!
