They are quite strict with restricting what they deem to be professional photos, even if they are just for Instagram. Additionally, if you plan to shoot just before closing, know that they close the upper floors of the staircase about 10 minutes prior to closing and can be quite rude in getting you to leave before the official closing time.

La Madeleine
