Garza Blanca Los Cabos Location

Garza Blanca Los Cabos is located about halfway between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas along the Tourist Corridor. This means that the hotel faces the ocean in a south-east direction, perfect for capturing the famous sunrises in Cabo.

You will most likely be arriving in Cabo at the main airport, Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), which is actually located in the smaller San José del Cabo. It is about a 30-40 minute drive from the airport to Garza Blanca Los Cabos, which can easily be completed via taxi, Uber, rental car, or private transportation.

Garza Blanca Los Cabos Arrival

Prepare to be amazed as soon as you arrive at Garza Blanca Los Cabos. The lobby has wide open views of the full resort and uninterrupted views of the ocean. As we arrived during COVID-19 times, safety precautions were in full force. Our temperatures, and that of our driver, were taken as we drove into the resort. Once at the lobby, hand sanitizer was provided, as was a refreshing towel. You are required to step onto a disinfecting mat, and your luggage will also be wiped down and cleaned. All staff were wearing face masks throughout our entire stay, as were guests except when at the pool or dining.

Check-in was completed quickly, and we were warmly greeted with a welcome drink and introduced to our butler for our stay. We were quickly on our way to our room.

Garza Blanca Los Cabos Rooms

Garza Blanca Los Cabos offers a variety of luxury suites catering to everyone’s needs. No matter which suite you choose, you’ll have a private terrace with hammock, a fully-stocked wet bar and beautiful views. During our time at Garza Blanca, we stayed in a 1-bedroom suite with direct views of the ocean.

Living Room at Garza Blanca Los Cabos

The main room featured a huge sitting area as well as a full kitchen, second bathroom, and even a washer and dryer for laundry. Coffee is our favorite way to start the day, and in each room there is a Nespresso coffee machine, perfect for making delicious cups of coffee anytime you want. The piece de resistance though is opening the electronically controlled drapes to reveal the expansive terrace and resort and ocean views.

Everyone loves a good hammock, and this is one of the great features of every room at Garza Blanca Los Cabos.

The king-size bed was heavenly soft, and the bedroom opened into the luxury bathroom with a huge tub, rain shower, and a unique feature, one of the Japanese-style toilets. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. You’d be forgiven if you never wanted to leave your room, but we would urge you to do so, as the rest of the resort is absolutely worth exploring.

Garza Blanca Los Cabos Amenities

The resort is set up in a ‘U’ shape, with all rooms in the eight levels around the ‘U’ shaped building. On each end of the ‘U’ near the ocean are the flagship restaurants. In the middle is the main resort area were Garza Blanca Los Cabos has no less than 6 pools. There is a kids pool, a swim-up bar, and an impressive glass-walled pool.

For peak relaxation, consider spending some time at Spa Imagine. We both enjoyed facials at Spa Imagine, but the highlight was the hydrotherapy circuit and impressive ocean views. The hydroptherapy circuit includes a hot sauna, steam room, high-pressure shower, large jacuzzi, a cold plunge pool, and the vitality circuit which has multiple water-jet massage stations designed to relax different areas of the body.

Garza Blanca Los Cabos Dining

One of the main draws of staying at Garza Blanca Los Cabos is the amazing culinary experience you will have at every restaurant. The attention to detail, quality of ingredients, and service is second to none.

Garza Blanca Los Cabos – Blanca Blue

The main restaurant for breakfast and lunch is Blanca Blue, which features an international and Mexican inspired menu. For breakfast we always enjoy a good French Toast, and the offering here was top-notch. Of course, if you are looking for something authentically Mexican, the Chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros were delightful and full of flavor.

We also ate at Blanca Blue for lunch, and not surprisingly, they offer some truly delicious tacos. They also offered some amazing pasta dishes. We are very particular when it comes to pasta, and it can be very hard to find proper pasta outside of Europe. We were truly surprised at how delicious the seafood pesto was here, with the linguine prepared perfectly al dente.

Garza Blanca Los Cabos – Bocados BTK

Located just next door to Blanca Blue, and open for dinner only is the Bocados BTK steakhouse. Here we had one of our best steak dinners that we have ever enjoyed. We can’t recommend it enough, and if you are a Caesar salad lover, this is the place to order it as they make the dressing fresh, table-side, right before your eyes.

Garza Blanca Los Cabos – Hiroshi

The other dinner-only restaurant is Hiroshi, serving up delicious Mexican-Japanese fusion cuisine. Highlights of the fantastic creations that come with Mexican-Japanese fusion, are the Wonton Tostada Tuna Tartare and Spicy Tuna Crunchy Tacos. You are free to enjoy your delicious meal on the beautiful outdoor terrace or indoors.

Garza Blanca Los Cabos – Room Service

Of course, you can also order room-service anytime of the day and enjoy a great meal on your terrace, or even have breakfast in bed. Garza Blanca Los Cabos makes ordering room service a breeze as you can order everything you want through the in-room television. The full menu is included there, plus pictures and descriptions to help you with ordering. Additionally, if there’s anything you would like that is not on the menu, we found the staff very accommodating.

For the coffee lovers out there, there is also a café at Garza Blanca where you can order any customized coffee drinks, but be aware and don’t make the same mistake that we did: the coffees and snacks here are not included in the all-inclusive plan so you will have to pay extra.

Garza Blanca Los Cabos – Romantic Dinner on the Beach

Of course we couldn’t forget the magical romantic dinner that Garza Blanca Los Cabos arranged for us. The team prepared a beautiful romantic dinner set-up in the sand so that we could enjoy a dinner for two with personal service, all the while watching the waves and sunset. It was a truly magical evening, and is something that anyone can arrange at Garza Blanca Los Cabos if they have a special occasion to celebrate, or just because!

The resort is large, but was not full when we were there so there were never any issues in getting dinner reservations or the lounge chairs that we wanted. We would recommend Garza Blanca Los Cabos to anyone that is looking for a luxury escape in the sun where they can dine and drink all-day and appreciate the culinary experience that Garza Blanca Los Cabos offers.
